Questions, answered.
Who pays after the handoff?
+The person you build for. When you transfer the site, the subscription and billing move to them — your cost basis for the work is about zero.
What does the recipient need?
+An email address. They claim the site with one click and make every future change by asking the chat agent in plain English.
What can I send the person I'm building for?
+Send them the How it works page. It's written to be shared: it explains how the site is claimed, who owns it, how billing works, and how updates happen through chat. It does not discuss what builders charge, so your pricing stays between you and your client.
Do I need to know how to code?
+No. You describe the site in a conversation. No code, no repo, no hosting configuration — ever.
How do I get started?
+Create a free account and the builder walks you through it — it starts by asking who you're building the site for. Prefer to use an AI subscription you already pay for? See the Connect page.
Can I build a site for free?
+Yes. Try it free and build a complete site end-to-end, with enough AI usage to build and refine it.
What happens to a site I already transferred?
+It's theirs. They own the domain, the billing, and the content, and they maintain it themselves. You're free to build the next one.
Can I keep working on a site after I hand it off?
+Yes. Transfer moves ownership and billing — not your access. You remain a collaborator until the owner removes you, so you can keep helping when both of you want that; any paid arrangement is between you and the client. The chat agent handles the small stuff — swap a photo, update the hours — so what clients come back to you for is the work worth charging for. The difference from the old model: staying involved is a choice, not the default.
Can I use my own Claude or ChatGPT subscription?
+Yes — see the Connect page to set SiteSparq up as a custom connector and build with the assistant you already pay for.
